Membership in the Coquitlam Amateur Radio Emergency Services Society is open to the public.
A year of membership runs from September 1st to August 31st inclusive.
Membership Types: Individual, Family, Newly Licensed
NOTE: The following applies to new members only. Existing members will be required to renew their membership starting on September 1 of each year. See Membership Renewal.
- For Family membership, all members must live in the same household. Up to two members have voting privileges.
- If you have paid for and passed the Basic License exam by one of our accredited examiners, you are eligible for free non-voting, limited access (no access card) Newly Licensed membership for the remainder of the year (August 31).
- New members will be eligible for an access card after 45 days of applying and a mandatory orientation of the club facilities.
- A discount applies if you are a member of RAC Radio Amateurs of Canada.

Upon review of your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay your membership dues and additional information.
Applicants that would like to become registered EMCR volunteers in order to volunteer with either youth and/or the City of Coquitlam emergency preparedeness will be required to obtain a Criminal Record Check.
